It's no sacrifice to do what you love to do. And I love doing and teaching Aikido. Helping others to understand... to do.
What is it that motivates...us to train day in and out?. Ranks. Positions?. Or the pure joy of little by little see things that where there before but, where not so obvious.
What helps us see them is the openness from which we approach our training. Our heart must be empty to see and yet full of hours dedicated to our training. A paradox?. Yes, a paradox that's not easy to understand.
Beginners are so good to teach. Everything is new. They open themselves in such a way that is hardly impossible to not enjoy teaching them. Advanced students need to learn not to fall in the trap of the appearance of knowledge. It is not what I know what is important. What thrust us forward is what we don't know and we long deep within to discover....
